A Nashville native, Shannon lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, daughter, and two cats. She has worked as a professional copy editor for a leading digital marketing company for the past five years. Her poems have been published in literary magazines such as Last Leaves Magazine, Black Fox Literary Magazine, and Talking River Review, among others. She currently has new work forthcoming from The Southern Quill.
